Terms and Conditions

Marus Sweets – Homemade Cookies & Pudding

Welcome to Marus Sweets! By placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Orders & Payments

  • All Big orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance (subject to availability).

  • Orders are only confirmed once full payment (or deposit if agreed) is received.

  • We accept payments via cash / bank transfer / mobile payment 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the pickup/delivery date are eligible for a refund (minus any transaction fees).

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before will not be refunded, as ingredients and preparation may have already begun.

  • Marus Sweets reserves the right to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., ingredient shortages, emergencies). A full refund will be issued in such cases.

3. Pick-Up & Delivery

  • Pick-up is available at my house (address will be given upon 30 mins before completion)

  • Delivery will be free for any one in Kankakee and 2$ extra of anyone in Bradley & Bourbonnais.

  • Once the product is handed over at pickup/delivery, Marus Sweets is not responsible for damage caused during transport, storage, or handling.

4. Product Information & Allergies

  • All our products are homemade and may contain common allergens such as dairy, eggs, nuts, gluten, and soy.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies when placing an order.

  • While we take care in preparation, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free kitchen.

5. Shelf Life & Storage

  • Cookies are best consumed within 3–5 days of purchase when stored in an airtight container.

  • Puddings should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 2–3 days.

  • Marus Sweets is not liable for products kept beyond the recommended time or stored incorrectly.

6. Customization

  • We do our best to meet customer requests for flavor, decoration, or packaging. However, small variations in color, size, and design may occur since all products are handmade.

7. Liability

  • Marus Sweets is not liable for any health issues, allergic reactions, or damages once the product has been delivered/picked up.

  • By purchasing, the customer accepts full responsibility for consuming and storing the products safely.

8. Changes to Terms

  • Marus Sweets may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply to current and future orders.
